North-Country Web promotes the North of England from the City of York to the Border of Scotland, intended to assist Tourists Worldwide in capturing the beauty and splendour of our Northern Heritage and a source of Information for us North Country Folk.

The Site has Historical Notes & Articles on all the Major Centres, with Pages on Local Accommodation, Restaurants, Public Houses, Attractions and Local Services along with Photos & Art Work depicting the region.

This Web Site is Prepared, Hosted & Maintained Locally by North Country Folk who know your Back Yard well, not by I.T. Unknown from Silicon Valley who is unaware of the area they are portraying.

Local Artists & Historians

  Any local Artists from any of the regions covered by this site, who have work and would like to exhibit it here,  may offer items for consideration.

This is also open to North Country Authors, including Advertisers who wish to pen interesting articles to attract visitors to their area, full credit will be given to all submissions.
